1. That I don't know this city nearly as well as I thought I did;
2. That working on this blog has improved -- and will continue to improve -- my quality of life; and
3. That the Parks Department is to be commended for its superior planning, implementation, and maintenance of our city's diverse and sprawling network of recreational spaces. They're pretty much everywhere -- so keep your eyes open!
